Cancer is a difficult and too often deadly opponent.  Over my lifetime, it has impacted family members, friends and colleagues.  I am only one person, but I believe that maybe, just maybe, the extra dollars I donate and/or raise will help in the fight against this disease.  Gilda's Club fights cancer by assisting and supporting those who are directly in its line of fire.  Often that support is what bolsters the spirit, the morale and the willpower of those who are affected by cancer - and as everyone should recognize, those three weapons are very important in surviving cancer's attack.  My going "Over the Edge" will be, I hope, a symbolic encouragement to those fighting the fight that one must live one's life to its fullest, whether one is blessed with perfect or flawed health, and make every day count for something!
