In remembrance of John Alston and John Hughes, I am going Over the Edge.
John Alston passed away six years ago from brain cancer. John Hughes passed away almost four years ago from pancreatic cancer. They both fought hard and are remembered for their "never give up" attitude!
This verse also comes to mind when reminiscing about these two brave men:
2Timothy 4:7
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith".
My hope is that we can extend the race for all those battling cancer!
