Gilda's Club is an amazing organization that provides support to cancer patients and their families. I became a member of the Gilda's Club Associate board because cancer has unfortunately altered the lives of a few family members. My hope is to spread awareness, volunteer to be there for those in need and be a voice for families and people who have been impacted by this disease. I am fundraising to go over the edge, and If I raise $1,500 (which will go directly to Gilda's Club), I will rappel down the 18-story Louisville Hyatt on Friday, May 20.
