Hi, I’m Jess! I’m an attorney by training (but not practicing right now), and a mom to one glorious teenager, Casey. 
 
In between parenting and work, I have absolutely packed a lot of adventures into my life so far, but last year something happened that could’ve ended everything. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 49, during a normal yearly mammogram. 
 
Gilda’s Club immediately offered me support, information, and companionship. They were a lifeline when I was confused and overwhelmed by my diagnosis. 
 
By now, I have undergone multiple surgeries, weeks of radiation, and an ever-changing assortment of medications (some with really unpleasant side effects), and Gilda’s club has been there to help every step of the way. 
 
I hope no one reading this ever needs them, but I promise if you do, they WILL be there for you too. Thanks for reading, and if you can help Gilda’s, I’m ready for my next adventure to be with them!
