I'd like to invite you to consider supporting my effort to raise money for Gilda's Club! It's an excellent organization that provides needed help to families affected by cancer. Your support means a great deal to me and for that I'm willing to rappel off of a building. I appreciate your consideration.
My family and friends has been personally affected by cancer. My first experience with cancer was when my best friend PJ was diagnosed pretty much out of the blue and that lead to about a 6 year battle for PJ, which he fortunately was able to survive. Today, thanks to his spirit and the support he had around him, he's lives and works here in Louisville, KY and I'm delighted he's a partner in our business today. The second experience was even closer to home. My mother was diagnosed with uterine cancer several years ago and went into remission but the cancer returned and unfortunately she lost her battle. Her spirit and love for all people survives today and for many years to come though through my family and her beautiful grandchildren.
