I am fundraising for Gilda's Club in memoriam of my late brother, Branden. Branden was profoundly intelligent, compassionate and dynamic, and all who knew him were better for it. He passed in June 2017 from complications following a bone marrow transplant he received after beating Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
This past year was a roller coaster of emotions: happiness when we heard "remission," set backs from the aggressive treatment on his body, comfort of support, and total agony at the end.
Gilda's Club provides support for people like myself and my family - through a strong community that offers bereavement programs, support groups, hugs, and listening ears - all free of charge to the recipient. Please consider supporting this wonderful cause. Unfortunately, since cancer touches nearly every human being's life in some way, we could all use a little support from time to time.
Please donate - no matter the amount. Every dollar and cent matters!
