When I was seven, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor.  Immediately I got brain surgery and started my first round of chemotherapy. That went on for many many years.  I have had 12 brain surgeries, 9 rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. Four years ago, after 12 years of a countless number of needles, surgeries and noisy long MRIS, I got the best new ever! I found out I was FINALLY IN REMISSION! Woohoo!! I raise funds for Gilda's Club to help more patients have a place to go to find solace and a community during their cancer treatments. Gilda's Club is truly an incredible place.
