My wife says I've been pushing her over the edge for years, so it looks like this time, I'm the one going over. My daughter was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer five years ago, and to say we were terrified is an understatement. God guided us to many people who helped make the cancer journey navigable, from oncologists and plastic surgeons to the wonderful people of Gilda's Club Kentuckiana. Today, I am thrilled to say she is cancer free! Her Mom and I volunteer at Gilda's Club every way we can, as we know firsthand how the support and programming offered by Gilda's Club makes the cancer journey so much easier to travel. With that being said, I am asking that you consider making a donation to Gilda's Club by supporting me in this year's "Over the Edge" fundraiser. If I can raise $1000 or more, on November 20th, I will be "thrown" over the edge of the Hyatt Regency in Louisville, where I will repel 18 stories to the street below. Every penny donated will support programming offered through Gilda's Club Kentuckiana, free of charge, to cancer patients and their families in Louisville and southern Indiana.
