I am participating in the Gilda's Club "Over the Edge" event in support of my cousin Tarah Decker, who is in remission after being diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer in 2019, at the age of 34. Through several major surgeries, and many treatments of chemotherapy and radiation with all of the side effects (during a pandemic, no less!), Tarah faced her battle with courage, humor and honesty, inspiring our family and all who know her. With her husband, Colby, and her sweet young son, Lou, by her side, she has come through this trial with scars but also with a huge heart and passion for making sure no one has to face a cancer diagnosis and treatment alone. Please help me in raising funds so we can not only repel down a 15-story building downtown to celebrate courage and resiliency, but also to help everyone who is affected by cancer in our community!
