I was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma in June 2018. I began attending Gilda's Club 8 months later after I heard they had a networking group for Sarcoma. This group gave me the opportunity to meet and talk with others going through or who have gone through similar experiences.  After joining I also began attending the yoga sessions and the pilates sessions which allowed me to meet more members and safely exercise in programs meant for those weaker from cancer treatment.

I am fund raising so others have the opportunity to make the friendships, connections, and resources that I had the opportunity to make in the midst of a life changing cancer diagnosis.
