Losing our son was hardest thing I’ll never get over. Raising his children has been my gift.  In them I still see his smile.

Gilda's was only a call away and on stand by and checked on me often.

The first step off 18 stories is as terrifying as it feels being told you have cancer

Those holding the ropes are encouragement and are like those drs treating our son

You have hope and trust in their hands.

Each level towards the ground is a treatment with a sigh of relief that level is past.

Making it to solid ground is remission. End of treatment or cure. In this we celebrate!

My brother-in-law, James Redmond, has been fighting cancer for the last couple of years. He is now in remission. Please add his name to your shirt.

Cancer sucks. Matt was lucky to have had the unconditional love and devotion of his parents, and obviously, he still does.
