Almost one year ago, Ashley went Over The Edge for the first time. Inspired that her twin sister was participating in such an incredible fundraising event, Shelby got to watch her rappel from The Hyatt in Downtown Louisville, and the two made a promise to rappel together the following year. Over The Edge with Gilda's Club takes place one month from today, and Shelby and Ashley are raising money that will be donated back to Gilda's Club Kentuckiana, which supports families and individuals who have been impacted by cancer. 

The Arnett Twins have watched family members of theirs fight and win their battles with cancer. It's simple enough to say that cancer is a horrible disease – but after Ashley's time working for Gilda's Club, and Shelby's experience with DanceBlue at the University of Kentucky, we've realized it is so much more complex than that. It takes an emotional, physical, and mental toll on the people you love. It is a constant question that doesn't always have a simple answer. 

By participating in Over The Edge, and by raising funds to give back to Gilda's Club – which provides support for anyone with a cancer connection – we hope we can take one step in the right direction. We hope we can provide a little more hope, a little more love, and tons of support for those who have been impacted by cancer.
